Design a poster inspired by Uncharted Territories

Uncharted Territories is known for its stunning visuals that help deepen our understanding of the world. We would love to see it rendered on readers' walls — and we're giving you the opportunity to make the first design.

We're offering $1,000 to the artist whose design best represents a map or idea from a UT article. The winning design may go on to become the flagship product for the launch of a brand new UT shop and lead to ongoing commission work.

Some Guidance for Artists

Like all UT articles, these items should convey layers of meaning. Don't try to sum up the whole publication in a single image. A better idea is to take one article and build around that.

A memorable line feeds a meaningful image which in turn hides details that are only visible on closer inspection. The design should be beautiful at first glance but invite conversation to delve into the information it shares.
